About me

My name is Anthony Faulkner from Carrick on Suir in Co Tipperary, and the owner of Suirside Landscapes and Tranquility Designs. With a diploma in garden design and level 5 Horticulture. I started off in the landscaping business back in 1999 for the wonderful late Paul O Gorman and his landscaping business Aspan Landscapes where I worked for 3 years. I also worked for other landscaping companies including Horizon Landscapes. I worked in Rockets castle in Co Waterford for 3 years also worked in the build of Gowran Golf Course .

In 2016 I went out to start my own business which is now growing. In 2018 I went on the RTE programme Super Garden where I designed and built a garden for the Hartnett family . The building of my design with the help of Niall and his wife Natalie Hartnett and her parents Ber and Billy Higgins plus many others that helped make my dream come true and my design called tranquillity was formed .In may 2018 in bloom I was honoured to win the RTE Super Garden viewers choice award which I thank everyone both in Ireland , England and even the USA that voted my garden there favourite garden .And in 2020 I done my diploma in garden design with the Garden Design Academy of Ireland. I also in 2020 started a gardening podcast on Spotify called The Premier Garden Show where I do a podcast every week and talk all things gardening so check it out. I also run a Garden Design business called Tranquility Designs which is from the name of my RTE Super Garden design name
